• Break the camera into separate parts, including taking off the lens, strap, battery, flashes and eye piece. Using the lint free cloth, wipe down the interior parts of a camera. You may use the cotton swabs for the areas that couldn’t be reached by a free cloth. Wipe gently and make sure that all of the separate parts of a camera are clean. When the free cloth is already dirty, change it to a new one.

• If the cotton swab is still clean, you can use that in cleaning some parts of a camera, like the battery terminals, but if the camera has a battery pack, you can clean that by wiping its terminal inside the camera pack by using cotton swab.
