• Break the camera into separate parts, including taking off the lens, strap, battery, flashes and eye piece. Using the lint free cloth, wipe down the interior parts of a camera. You may use the cotton swabs for the areas that couldn’t be reached by a free cloth. Wipe gently and make sure that all of the separate parts of a camera are clean. When the free cloth is already dirty, change it to a new one.
• Smoothly wipe the mirror and the lens mount of the camera with a cleaning fluid on a cotton swab. Clean the view finder of the camera with a cleaning fluid on a cotton swab.
A cleaning fluid helps to maintain the camera mirror and the view finder clean and clear.
• If the cotton swab is still clean, you can use that in cleaning some parts of a camera, like the battery terminals, but if the camera has a battery pack, you can clean that by wiping its terminal inside the camera pack by using cotton swab. Maintain the flash contact free dust and clean. Wipe it down as necessary.
